It started with a dream...

Several years ago we started an online store. Business went well and the store grew. We managed inventory, supplier information, purchase orders and everything else on spreadsheets. 

However, spreadsheets don’t scale and we were soon in Excel hell trying to track down the right address, the right product,  the right file or the right calculation (which was usually wrong).

None of the available software was right for us. It was too complex, solved the wrong problems, was expensive, or just looked like something from the mid-’90s. We had to find something better…

So we decided to create Athena! Built in-house for SMEs like us! An inventory management system by people who really care!
